About The Founder; Patrick Cicalese
Patrick Cicalese is the founder of Regular Guys Bible Study—an online Bible study for men focused on helping everyday guys grow closer to God, strengthen their faith, and live with real purpose.Patrick’s journey began in a traditional religious upbringing, but everything changed at age 14 when he was invited to a home Bible study.
There, he discovered a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deeper understanding of God’s Word.A standout athlete, Patrick attended Florida State University on a football scholarship, where he played under legendary coach Bobby Bowden, a strong Christian mentor. While involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Patrick later recognized that his faith journey required deeper commitment and transformation.After college, he returned to a Bible-teaching church, was water baptized, and fully committed his life to Christ.
From that point on, he dedicated himself to teaching, mentoring, and leading men’s Bible study groups, Sunday school classes, and prison ministry—bringing real-life Bible study and the truth of Scripture to men from all walks of life.Patrick and his wife, married since 1990, have experienced both great joy and deep loss, including the tragic passing of their youngest son in 2016.
Through it all, their faith in God has remained the foundation of their lives.Today, Patrick’s mission is simple: to make Scripture clear, practical, and applicable through a no-fluff Bible study for men. Through Regular Guys Bible Study, he leads a strong Christian brotherhood where men can ask real questions, grow in biblical understanding, and apply God’s Word to everyday life.
